Description: I've been working for a while now with the concept of abstracting the British Columbia (BC) landscape. I've been looking at a lot of paintings and some prints and watercolours (mostly paintings though) of artists interpreting the BC landscape. I want to figure out how to do my own interpretation, but using photos. This is an attempt at that.

To me it is a really beautifull interpretation of the BC landscape,Ursula..as a photography/painting i love the diferent layers of the colours and horizontal light lines..as a landscape the top left "confuse" my eyes a little by generating a diferent perspective above the horizon..like if there were 2 of them..but for me it is Really Beautifull..;-)))..Congrats for the Sublime/colourfull sensitive way of doing it!

It came out really beautiful Ursula, love the tones and the "nuances" of colours em forms, I especially love the bright line of light on the bottom near ground, it gives life and spirit to the image.
Congrats Ursula!

I am a big fan of your work. I do not know who said it, but you're right, "photography is painting with light. "
